Elkhorn Kids
Children of all ages are very special at the Elkhorn.
Peanuts - ages 6 to 12 - are usually found with the *Peanut Butter Mother
from breakfast until bedtime. Kids ride together, play together, and eat in the dining hall together
all under the watchful eye of the Peanut Butter Mother.*The Peanut Butter Mother and the Peanut Butter Aunt preside over meals, watch over the kids playing, organize games and lead the Peanut rides.
Jets - teenagers - also choose to ride and travel together, thus parents and grandparents
are free to enjoy ranch life and other guests while also gaining the benefits of a very
special family vacation. If an older teenager prefers to be with adults, that's fine too.

We hope parents will have a real vacation at the Elkhorn, as well as a good time enjoying the West with their kids. Intimate cabin living, the Monday bonfire, Sunday and Wednesday area excursions, and the Saturday night square dance are especially nice family times. The Peanut Butter Mother's leadership from breakfast until 8:30 p.m. gives parents and their younger kids the freedom to be together or apart as they wish.
