Welcome to the Elkhorn Ranch

   Ride our trails and experience all the beauty and serenity of the Rocky Mountains, astride some of the finest dude horses available. Elkhorn Ranch is just one mile from the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park, surrounded by the Gallatin National Forest and the Lee Metcalf Wilderness - millions of acres of spectacularly beautiful mountain scenery. Wildlife abounds, including elk, deer, moose and an occasional bear or wolf.

A Comfortable Wilderness Experience

   The Elkhorn Ranch is one of the few remaining traditional dude ranches where the natural outdoor experience is the focus of activity. We are a family oriented ranch where all ages can enjoy their peers without sacrificing that very special feeling of time shared.
   Guests, about forty each week, typically come and go on Sunday. There is a one week minimum, although we encourage longer stays to gain the most from the ranch, the riding and the other guests.
   The ranch setting lends itself to exclusive seminars, retreats and small conferences, which are held during June and September.
