Elkhorn Cabins
Fifteen log cabins set the tone of the Elkhorn Ranch, rustic elegance, comfort,
and hospitality. Built mostly in the 30's, each is set apart from the
others, with it's own view of the ranch meadow. Cabins vary in
size, sleeping from one to eight people. All have a private bath with
electric heat. Cabin Map
All cabins have porches, most are covered, offering a quiet spot to
relax after a day in the saddle.
Here, too, people gather with new friends at the end of the day or steal an afternoon of solitude. There are no phones, although there is one in the office, or televisions to disturb the tranquility or interrupt the laughter of kids playing at the Rec Hall or pond.

Wood stoves provide the main heat source and are especially appreciated in the early morning when we light them for you before you leave the comfort of your bed. Other useful amenities include lots of hot water and nightly turndowns.
Life at Elkhorn is based on the out doors and our cabins reflect that.
Built during a simpler era, they are cozy and comfortable. Hand hewn log
bed frames and dressers, most made by Cruse Black in the 30's and 40's,
are complimented by Hudson Bay blankets and down comforters on good beds
with reading lights. Colorful rugs adorn the, often squeaky, wood
floors.Home | Trail Rides | Activities | Kids | Cabins | Food | Contact Us Employment Opportunities Visit the Elkhorn Arizona Web site, our sister winter ranch. Member of the National Dude Ranch Association, Montana Dude Ranch Association, and American Outdoors. |
